Dance Photography

The goal of my dance photography is to capture the essence of live dance. I photograph many different types of dance ranging from ballet and flamenco, to modern and hip-hop. I aim to convey the artistry, beauty and drama of each dance and capture the decisive moments of the performance as well as the feeling of the choreography.

Over the past four years I have been photographing live dance performances in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to live performances, I work collaboratively with artistic directors, dancers and choreographers to create dramatic images in the studio environment.
