The Great American Fall Classic

This photo story documents my journey to San Francisco on October 31, 2012 and shares my impressions of the spectacle as over 1 million people converged into the city to celebrate the San Francisco Giants World Series championship. The photos in this portfolio use a photo journalism/formal fine art style and I use multi image pages to help convey my impressions of the event. I blended photos of San Francisco dirt over the photos in order to give the images a sense of place and the feeling of the classic and timeless nature of Giants baseball. I have achieved my objective with this project if after seeing these photos you feel like you experienced a bit of the excitement, emotion and craziness of this San Francisco historical event.
